Shirley J Catalog – Behind the Scenes

This week we have been shooting all the photography for our first-ever Shirley J Catalog. It is going to be an amazing piece and schedule to come out in September as part of our official launch.

We’ve hired J.Schmid, one of the premier catalog marketing companies in the nation to help us with the project. We also have hired a great team of fabulous photographers, a food stylist and executive Chef who has been developing recipes. It’s been nothing but a dream to see everything come together. We feel that this catalog illustrates the endless possibilities of Shirley J Products and gives a great look to the future of our company. It’s amazing to think that we’ve brought all this together in a short four months.

Here’s a behind the scenes look at the photo shoot this week:

Meet Chef Brian Richter. He brings loads of culinary expertise and experience to the Shirley J table. Almost all of the recipes featured in this upcoming catalog were developed by Brian.

I bet you’re wondering where all this is happening. Well folks, it’s all happening right at the Shirley J Office & Storefront. We are remodeling a section of our building to become a teaching kitchen. Right now we have some of the equipment in for the photo shoot, it is wonderful!

Here’s a shot of the catalog layout. You’ll notice some of the shots we took are taped up on there. Isn’t it going to be lovely! The catalog is more of what we like to call a magalog. It’s a wonderful mix of a traditional catalog with various qualities of a high-quality magazine. You’ll learn more about our products, our company story and get great recipes!
