Recipes from Open House

Many have requested the recipes we shared during our open house demos. I’ll be posting these one by one over the next week or so! Let’s start out with Shirley J’s Signature Cream Soup, using the Shirley J Signature Cream Sauce Base.

This recipe below is a start to hundreds of marvelous soup, gravy and sauce recipes! In fact, at our demo we started with a large pot of this soup and made six different dishes. Incredible right?  Even better, the ingredients used were a combination of fresh, frozen, dried or canned…and most ingredients were items you keep on hand.

Shirley J Signature Cream Soup

Ingredients:
1 cup Shirley J Signature Cream Sauce Base
3 cups water

Directions:
Bring water to a boil. Add Shirley J Signature Cream Sauce base and whisk until combined. Lower heat and cook until desired consistency is reached. Add any combination of vegetables and meat. *You may adjust consistency by increasing or decreasing the amount of water.

Makes 1 quart.
